Mounting glow engine to counter thrust

Postby Bruce8 » Mon Jan 07, 2013 10:50 am

Hi guys,
I was wondering whether I would have to mount my ASP S21A glow engine at an angle of about 2 degrees to counter right thrust from the engine. Do I need to do it with an engine as small as this, a 0.21? Do I still have to do it while running it on a profile rc plane? Is this engine fine with running it a 90 degrees to its normal seating i.e on a profile model? Thanks

I've found I had to put some right thrust on all my models using engines from Cox 049 up to OS61 over the last 40 years.
Many Thanks,

Dave W.
