Hobby King no.3 (HOT) Glow plug

Postby Bruce8 » Sun Jan 20, 2013 12:45 pm

Hi guys,
I recently bought the no.3 glow plug from hk. It says it needs a 1.3 to 1.5 voltage. Now, I have a glow plug starter with a 1.2 v battery in it. Is this enough to start it? If I put in a 1.5v battery, will it damage the starter? Would love to hear all opinions. Thanks

The glow plug driver will have a nominal voltage high enough to heat the plug, so you will be OK without any changes.
