Parkzone Icon A5 (from Model Flight SA)

If you didn't have to build it then you can talk about it here.

Well guys here it is my latest addition to the hangar.

This plane is a delight to own. Its finish is so good I have to say it tops the charts for the best foamie I've got.

I bought the BNF version and in my opinion it's the best value. I'll post a heap of manufacturer photos as I have not had it up yet due to very poor weather these last few weeks.

As soon as I maiden her you'll all see the video on my YouTube channel.

I have a second cockpit already and I am just waiting for the FlyCamOne2 a mate is sending to me from the US to arrive, once here I'm going to mount it in the cockpit with an 'over dash' view for realistic flying video.

Stay tuned...

Want - Want - Want...

I'll get onto it bro.

No thanks on the 'water tank' knowing you it will be bio-mass of some sort

Will get on with updating other areas these next few days too. ;)

So how did the maiden go Hallmark? We are relying on you!

It looks like the CoG is quite low. It may be quite stable and easy to fly. So do you think a relative newbie would find it easy to fly? I'm starting to feel comfortable now - doing loops and figure of 8's without destroying the plane. I now land and don't (always) crash...

I looked at this one as well, but was put off by some of the reviews.A first-hand account would be so much better:).
I like the sort-of-Dornier shape of it.

I'm sorry all been busy building my FPV set up and doing the work thing.

The Icon hasn't been maidened as yet, but I shall make it an immediate priority as soon as my first FPV flight is flown.

Thanks for the interest and support.

Here is a link to the flitetest review, it is pretty much the same as what I am hearing from many here who have this plane.

Basically if you can fly an AXN quite WELL <--- look I said WELL, then I'm told this will be a good intermediate step up plane.

Please note around 6:40 they show it being used for FPV! Now there's a great experience, FPV pond landings... :o   8-)

Anyway go look at this and I'll get to mine as soon as I can.
