I have a Hitec servo that I have been having problems with (very glitchy-lots of stops and starts). I took it apart and it seemed like it might be an intermittent short between signal and ground (HS-311). I pulled the lead away from the ground plane and put the servo back together and it runs smooth as silk. I want to go back in there and see if I can put some material between the lead and the ground plane, but not sure. I want it to be a liquid, because it is a very small area. Would hot glue be enough of a dielectric to insulate against 5v? Any other ideas? I want to use something that I have around the house.
Thanks,
Curtis
