Futaba and Spektrum Range tests

I bought a 2nd Futaba 8FG yesterday and before trusting any new piece of equipment in flight I do my own testing..

Part of this testing involves real world range testing..

While doing these tests I also had a Spektrum DX6i set up along side and a Blade MCPX Helicopter..

The Futaba passed all my tests with ease as expected..

What was suprising was the reliable range of the little MCPX..

(I am not trying to prove anything.. I just do these tests for my own peace of mind after buying new equipment.... This post is just for information only for anyone interested...)
