Nicad, NiMH, Lithium, A123? If it's transmitter or receiver batteries you want to talk about, do it in this forum.

Nicad NiMH parallel charging.

Is it possible the parallel charge Nicads/ NiMH of same mah/cell size pack using the wall charger (JR) supplied with you radio? Do wall chargers only trickle charge at all times and would this make it possible to charge this way. I'm asking this question because in my larger 50cc model I run dual redundancy batteries, and have 2 models I like to take flying and only 2 wall chargers. If I could parallel charge I could use 1 charger per plane. Does parrell charging increase how long it now needs to charge since the Mah has been doubled.

Nobody more expert has answered. I wouldn't, because if there's the slightest difference between the two packs then when you connect them together you'd be pulling a high current out of one pack and into the other. On your second question, yes it will take twice as long because it's got twice the capacity to fill.

You're using a standard wall trickle charger. Does that have an output to charge the transmitter? If so then you could use that o/p to charge the two receiver packs in series.
