Pin numbers from left to right, first 4 pins double row.
If board is made to Tim's spec with print, it will all be there!
My boards came from Tim's excellent work Bird files.
GRN each for each voltage supply
12v I got from balance lead off the battery.
Depends what leads you use of the UBEC whether its 12v or 5v!

Hi Bruce

Pin 1 GND for 5v power supply for Receiver
Pin 2 5v power supply for Receiver
Pin 3 RSSI
Pin 4 Video out
Pin 5 Audio out
Pin 6 GND for Pins 4 & 5

I bought a cheap and nasty speed controller, supplied by 12v transmitter battery, protected the motor feeds and used the 5v lead that normally goes to receiver.

Hope this helps!

Mike

Hi Mike,

Sorry I'm very new to all this, where would i plug the RSSI into. I am building this backpack just for the fun of it. I have no goggles as yet and still in the process of building a quad, never flown multi rotor yet, but figured id give it a go and wanted to get into FPV cheaply so happy to try and build this up. I may just get a screen at first before i buy goggles once if learnt to fly it too.

HI Mike,

Thanks,

No I am in Australia. I think i get it now thanks. I have had a go at making a board for Bruce's basic diversity controller. I might post the schematic and see if i can get a comment from Bruce or others to see if i have it right. Wanted to have a go instead of doing the dead bug style he did.

Hi:
Has anyone come up with any improvements on the design or pcb's or prices or cameras or aerials?
Anyone having problems with the designs or any thing? I was enjoying the progress until.....
No action here in some time!
Thanks
Don

Don
look for 5v tx, 5v camera, ferrite ring for power from esc to flight receiver. Make own arial, tuned and set dips to suit.

And for anyone out there, have tx and rx as pairs available, willing to pass on at P&P costs, check old threads.
Firsts get complete modules less tx & rx, and the less dip switches as I ran out.
Happy New Year to all out there. ;)
