I bought an 049 engine and a 5x3 prop for around £15 plus postage- £2 , very good considering its came from canada. it arrived in a week by canada post but they didn't give me any tracking numbers so i couldn't track my parcel but when it arrived i was very pleased with my purchase. well wrapped and i got all the items i expected! which was good.i fully recommend this company, they also have an ebay shop.

I don't think they are made here, I think they are ordering parts to fill out/assemble the old stock they got when they bought out the factory.
Dunno if they bought the tooling and/or brand name too. Clever Canadians.

It certainly does look like a passive-aggressive note about Canada's ability to manufacture though, and having serviced printers in blighty that we built in Canadar...

(I own a British Seagull and went to the steam era show yesterday, otherwise we don't see many UK engines in Canada, only the really old ones :D )
