FPV camera trouble

Postby fpvdaydreamer » Tue Sep 11, 2012 10:45 pm

Hi everyone,

I have the 1/3 sony super had ccd 600tvl with osd camera tied into a
bevrc 5.8g 500Mw system. I put it together following the fpv back pack
video. When I powered it up I got nothing after playing with it I found
that the wire connection from the camera to the Tx was loose. I tightened
it up and now I get a white screen and the osd info. I also get sound from what
appears to be coming from the tx cause I can hear the fan. I also
have a new pyle lcd screen I was going to use with this setup but when
tied into that I get nothing. I only get the white screen and osd info when
tied into my Samsung tv. Not sure if thats just coincidence or what. I was
hoping someone might have ideas on how I can trouble-shoot this problem
to fix or narrow it down to a certain faulty part. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks Bobby

Sounds like your camera needs to checked out. Start with the wires from the camera to your OSD. Make sure all connections are to the right places and the wires for the camera are all working properly.

Then you could try checking your channel selection as I've read that sometimes this can make a difference in that some video is displayed (such as OSD) and some not (such as picture). I know it sounds silly, but worth a try anyway...?

Good luck and please let us know how you get on and what it was if you manage to sort it out.
