I'm hoping some people can give me some guidance on my AXN build issue. After watching Bruce's instructions and videos online, he convinced me to purchase and build the AXN Clouds Fly. After waiting about 2 months to have all the items delivered from Hobby King, I finally started the build.
I bought: AXN ARF with motor, Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack (2 of them), HK-T6A receiver, Hobby King 30A ESC 3A UBEC, and other items that were recommended. The only difference was the receiver which I still think is compatible.
I soldered the XT60 connectors onto the batteries and the UBEC... red with red, black with black. I'm pretty sure the soldering is good. Connections are tight. On the other end of the UBEC, I soldered the red with red, blue with blue, black with black to the plane/motor. When I connect either balanced battery with the UBEC and receiver, the power up tone does not turn on. The receiver is connected to channel 3. I just can't test out my motor and receiver. I know there is power because the receiver light goes on. I believe it is something wrong with either the UBEC or the motor. Can someone shed some light on this? What am I doing wrong? What do I need to change to fix this?
Thanks!
