Begginer multicopter

Mate just a quick question, i am wanting to get into multicopters and i am looking for a start out unit.

I am considering the Quantum Nova available on the HK site at a very good price comparing to the Phantom and was wondering what you thoughts are?

Also being in Australia which means mode 1, is that the way to go as i have seen many running mode 2 on Multi's
