Petition Model Flying New Zealand

Postby Mr Brown Cat » Tue Sep 01, 2015 5:28 pm

After watching Bruce's "Bad News I'm Afraid" YouTube video I started looking for any way the flying community worldwide could help,
And I found a Change.org Petition to put pressure on Model Flying New Zealand.
This petition was created by Arthur Turner from Australia this petition was started 5 months ago and only has 37 supporters.
With the amount of subscribers this support is pathetic.

As a model aircraft hobbyist, I was shocked when a 300x Km exclusion zone was suddenly declared around New Zealand. In this post, I'll try to explain why an aeromodelling community is petitioning to overturn the decision.

In recent years, we have seen a swarm of new petitions on the Internet. I don't think that the objective is bad, but this is not enough to make it really useful for society. We are trying to solve this model with a system similar to payment processing. We have decided to launch a new petition platform termed “Petition Model”, which will be owned by everyone and controlled by everyone!

What's up with Bruce? It seems like this forum is slowly dying

If you haven't already, consider sharing the petition on your social media platforms or within relevant online that's not my neighbor communities. Sometimes, petitions struggle to gain traction simply because they haven't been widely shared.
