FrSky 2.4GHz DIY kit on hitec CHALLENGER 260b

Hello there.. I want to install the frsky 2.4 diy kit on my hitech challenger 260b and i asking for a little assistance here.. i dont want to but a new controller when i already have a good one, so my idea is to install this kit on the mother board but i need some help doing that, the controller have 6 cables from steering and acceleation , 6 cables from a small board that shows batteryhealth and on air rf. these then connects to the motherboard in two connections that you can disconnect

Did this project ever lead to something, or was it abandoned due to lack of feedback? I'd be quite interested in hearing how it turned out.
