I have just purchased one (waiting for it to arrive)

thought it would be a great plane to use to teach myself some 3D, hopefully it will be reasonably forgiving

Hi, I don't have one of those but i do have a piaget http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... oduct=8472
I find it excellent for learning or practicing 3D as is very forgiving and and will fly around nice and slow . I went nose first straight into the ground at about half throttle and all it did was bust the prop .
