Just want to say thanks to TimJC for his OSHPark boards. I've just ordered them - not sure how long they will take to get to the UK but it is certainly easier than me digging out the ferric chloride! Need to order the other stuff now

You could have had the boards off me, professionally made, components added less RX's 470uF caps and the TX & RX modules for the pair for £6 + P&P, in postage time from Surrey.

hi all
so i took bruces design and wanted to move everything round so i could get some pcbs made by seed studio. so decided to make them cheaper ide fit both boards onto a 5x5cm board. but was hoping for some help with the 5v power regulator. instead of using the 5v ubec, could any one recommend a circuit i can use, so i can have the regulator directly on the board?

i think the schematic is right, could someone tell me if i made a mistake. the 3 resistors name MIC, 12v and 5v are going to be used as jumpers, so i can change the voltage going to the camera between 12v and 5v, and the resistor mic is used as a jumper to enable the onboard mic. i also added a power led to it. I've added the files to my dropbox account since i couldn't upload the files on here.

Hi Guys,

Im thinking of buying Tim's design. Is there any info on where the power in connects and the camera plugs in 9-12v as originally designed by Bruce.

The design Tim has looks good. I have found all the components online but want to know how to plug it all in before i buy it all. I am very new to all this now been out of the hobby a while but im keen to have a go at building this.

My Sony 600TVL plugs into 6, 7 and 8.
If you want to buy, I have TXs and RXs for sale £6 + P&P all components solder on just needs the TX and RX modules soldered on!

Hi Michael,

Are the pins no's on the board? WHy are there so many grounds, where r they all coming from? Where would the ubec plug in.? I think i may be a bit confused.

I think i have a handle on it the more i look at it, well i orded the boards and all the components so see what happens
