Are HexTronic & TowerPro servo's the same company?

Postby GizmoMadMax » Fri Mar 16, 2012 5:24 am

Hello,

There has been some talk regarding the TowerPro vs the HexTronic servo's
I have had great success with the HexTronic 9gram servo's, but we see a lot of vendors carrying the TowerPro 9gram???

They look the same, but are they identical and can we have the same great success with the TowerPro 's?

Thank you in Advance for the Tech insight!!
Cheers
:-)

I had 4 TowerPro G9's in my 450 heli, all ended up with stripped gears very easily. Have regeared them (from other dead ones) and they are now in my AXN, they don't suffer from stutters like the AXN originals. Quality control must have been lacking on my original TowerPros, all casings were loose and required tensioning.
They are not as cheap as Bruces favourite HK15178.
Would I but TowerPros in an expensive model, no.
Not enough time in the day for all my crazy ideas, I'm not slow, I'm just pacing myself
